The small task of knowing God
It is said that the man who invented the word “God” knew him directly. He had spent years thinking deeply about life without understanding its essence, until one day he walked outside his house; smelled the flowers, saw the horizon and heard a bird signing. Only then was he able to understand and create the word God. However he could not explain what he meant to his neighbours; and younger generations were stuck with the task of defining the word. Yet all they managed is to pile up ideas. Now we live like if, with those ideas, we understood God. JR
